In what is an act of trespass if not outright piracy, activists have climbed onto the rig in an effort to cease all activity. This stunt is just the latest attempt by Greenpeace to deny [...] The Guardian has a column defending IPCC Chairman, Rajendra Pachauri, asking the question that if he goes, who would want the job: If Pachauri goes – and the decision can only be taken by governments – two years into his second six-year term, then no future IPCC chair can ever feel safe.
