Climate Scam – Updates from the Skeptics Side

Post Bali-hoo, what better way to start a new year of blogging than to feature articles and news events that take a more considered look at the climate change nonsense that Gorebots preach to be ‘settled science’.

Despite the Chicken-Little-in-Chief winning a percentage of a Nobel prize (for Peace? Whatever!) and the Bali love-in that burned more fossil fuels than I could use in 100 lifetimes, I sense a general trend of increasing healthy skepticism.  My theory is that the greenahadeen spent so much of 2007 over-reaching their arguments and beating down any dissent that they reached a critical point where ordinary people are wondering what they have to hide from debate.  It does not help their cause that the mask has started to slip, revealing the ugly face of Marxism just under the surface of the global warming movement, but noticeable.

So, let’s hear from the voices of reason…

First up, Senator Inhofe’s EPW blog notices that, in 2007, 400 scientists disputed global warming claims.  Wow, with all that denier consensus, the pro-climate change crowd must be feeling the heat!  The Washington Times noticed the story, so good news that the anti-crowd can get some column inches through the censor net.

Next, Phil Brennan makes a prediction that the Gorebot theories (sorry, that should read ‘settled science by consensus’) will be debunked in 2008, by the planet no less.  The only downside is that Phil sees more cooling… not good news for us in Canada.  I guess I need a bigger SUV.  To back up the Newsmax article, this looks a lot more like cooling than warming to me.  Note the words above the chart… ‘Southern Hemisphere Ice Cover Remains Well Above Normal’. I guess Gore forgot to tell Gaia about the damage that such news might do to his earning potential…

Here is a good article by Timothy Carney about one of the silly outcomes of global warming scaremongering – CFL lights.  Remember that the greens have had to suspend attacks on mercury (here, here and here) and dump them into the memory hole in order to be able support CFL technology.  Hyprocrits?  Youbetcha!

Finally, a word from the bad guys.  If you wonder how far some greens will go in their hatred of their fellow man, read no further than this nasty piece from the Baltimore Chronical.  These are rhe kind of people that are jumping onto the Gore bandwagon… and the very reason that this small blog will continue to question their motives and practices.

You have to hope that this increase in skepticism keeps building momentum – its time to throw these shrill shills to the wolves and start figuring out which of them need to be criminally investigated for fraud.
