In the festivity of the movie’s initial anniversary, Lady Gaga gave it a personal shout-out on the social platform. The singer, who is now rocking rose-colored strands, shared a sweet picture of her holding a multiplatinum plaque rewarded for the film’s amazing music.

She captioned the snap saying a year ago, a Star was Born, and here we prevail 6 times pink platinum.

In June, the A Star Is Born music album surpassed six million sales globally and became certified double platinum in the United States.

The film also possessed an impressive award season, receiving honors at this year’s Grammys, Critics’ Choice Awards, and also BAFTA Awards. Lady Gaga and Cooper’s influential song “Shallow” even motivated countless amazing covers and came to be our go-to karaoke jam.
