Alicia Keys has purchased a lavish $30 million four-bedroom Californian pad with incredible ocean views and its own path to fame — being the property that gave the inspiration for Tony Stark’s modern mansion in Iron Man.
The award-winning singer-songwriter, 38, and her husband Swizz Beats are the latest owners of the La Jolla mansion nicknamed Razor House for its stunning architecture and cliffside location near a trail called Razor Point, The Sun reported.
Initially, The Razor House put on sale for $43 million. This essentially means Alicia saved herself a massive $13 million.
It hosts a circular cinema room and according to the Wall Street Journal, it has a stainless-steel spa, infinity pool and acoustically furnished walls and ceiling — just tailor-made for any superstar musician.
It also has a two-bed guesthouse and a rooftop entertaining area in addition.
Previously this year Alicia was the host for the 61st Grammys.
The Fifteen-time Grammy winner tweeted a video of the moment she found out that she’d been chosen for the prestigious ceremony.
She posted the video with the caption: “I’m so EXCITED to reveal that I’ll be hosting the 61st Annual Grammy Awards!! There’s so much coming and I CAN’T WAIT for y’all to see it ALL come to life.”
Alicia has released six albums as a performer in her career.
She also dinner the role of a coach for three seasons of the US version of The Voice.
Her acting credits also featured film The Secret Life of Bees, Empire, The Nanny Diaries and Smokin’ Aces.
She had also previously served as an ambassador for a number of charities which includes the Keep a Child Alive and has performed in fundraising concerts for social causes including the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, and HIV research.
The star is reported to have a net worth of more than $110 million.
