Amazon at its annual event on September twenty-five at its headquarters introduced a new machine Delete feature for Alexa.

As a part of this feature, users will have to select a time frame after which they want all their older Alexa recordings to be deleted.
Alexa users will choose either 3 months or eighteen months to mechanically delete their Alexa recordings.
For better understanding, if you set your auto-delete time period to three months, all your Alexa recordings will be deleted every three months on an ongoing basis.
Once set, you won’t have to ask Amazon’s virtual assistant to delete your recordings over and over again.
This feature will add on to other utterances “Alexa, delete everything I said today,” and “Alexa, delete what I just said” that enables Alexa users to access and delete utterances individually or all at once.
A good thing about this feature is that apart from being rolled out in the US, Amazon is also making this feature available in India later this year.
