The untimely death of the Kobe Bean Bryant an American basketball player along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna has been a rude shock to many, especially to his family, fans and friends. Kobe Bryant, his daughter and seven others were involved in an unfortunate helicopter crash on 26th January 2020 and lost their lives. He is well known among his family and friends as a fun-loving and caring person who had unconditional love for his near and dear ones.

Ellen Degeneres, a well-known television anchor, comedian and a writer is well known for her famous television show, The Ellen Degeneres Show. She is a close friend of Kobe Bryant and she has interviewed him on her shows. She was seen breaking down during her latest television show. The 62-year-old comedian bid a tearful adieu to Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna. She said though she was in a celebratory mood on account of her birthday on Sunday, it changed everything the second she learnt about his tragic death. She fondly remembers him as a friendly person full of compassion and love for everyone. Ellen Degeneres encourages her audience to give more time and care for their loved ones as life can sometimes be very short. She tells them that sometimes the most important things in life must be learnt from tragedies like these. She further continued to tell her audience to express their love to someone if they haven’t expressed so far. She says to call their friends, make some time with them, hug them and kiss them.

She concluded by saying that her heart goes to Kobe’s family and the to the families who have lost their loved ones in the tragic air crash on the fateful Sunday. She signed off by saying her favourite quote “Be kind to one another”.
