The highly anticipated third season of Apex Legends is now a reality, as Respawn put out a flurry of new details about it on September 19.
As we have gone on to see with the previous two seasons, Meltdown will introduce a new Legend, weapon, Battle Pass and more into the world of the popular battle royale title.
So what lies in the future for Apex Legends Season 3: Meltdown?

Respawn has revealed officially that Season 3 will start off on October 1, which will be coming with a big update that will increase all of the new content and updates into the game.
Crypto will be the all-new Legend that players will be able to use in Kings Canyon, which to be honest is not really a major surprise if we consider all of the info that was leaked before this announcement, and the fact that he was even minutely displayed in-game recently.
While Crypto’s three strengths have not been officially confirmed, Respawn did give a hint with this in-game bio: “Cool, calm, collected Crypto deploys extreme surveillance drones to remain in the fight and out of the spotlight.”
Season 3 will also hand out a brand new weapon called the Charge Rifle, which resembled like it will be an energy-based weapon that will burst out a direct beam of energy instead of firing rounds.
“Get your way across the Arena with this brutally directed-energy weapon,” said the official description.
Meltdown will also give a new Battle Pass for players to increase their levels and gain new rewards. There will be “more 100 exclusive items” on offer, including Legendary skins, packs, and latest types of content that will debut in Season 3.
