Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 gets Android 10 via custom: Guidelines to Update

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 was launched last year as a smartphone offering near stock Android experience and now, the smartphone is unofficially getting Android 10 support as well. In addition, the update that was already available on all eight models of Pixel-branded smartphones has now become available for Essential Phone and Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro as well. Officially joining the list of devices compatible with Android 10, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is set to go. Today, we give you a closer look into the smartphone that’s been newly updated to Android 10 via a custom ROM.

One of a kind

The custom ROM available exclusively for the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and not any other devices, this smartphone launched last year comes with near stock Android experience like no other. In addition, Asus’ affordable mid-range smartphones with near-stock Android only add to it making a better option for the average user. Better performance for an adorable price is a win-win situation in any way.

An inspiration to many

With the announcement of Android 10, Google also released a new version of its mobile operating system to Android Open Source Project (AOSP). This allows OEMs and other developers to build their own version and test customizations. The third-party ROM based on Android 10 for the M1 became available only two days after Google released it on AOSP.

Availability to a broader scope

These custom-ROM builds are expected to bring support for more devices. Expected to deliver nearly stable without any major bugs, these ROMS are in fact newly being offered by other developers.
