Bang and Olufsen which is a luxury brand specializing in a lot of stuff altogether. They have released a number of audio products that have hit off the market quite amazingly. All it lacked was in the area of soundbars. Band and Olufsen, B & O, had not released anything in the category of soundbars yet but now even that has been resolved.
Here we have our first ever B & O’s soundbar, the Beosound Stage. The luxury product was launched for the first time in an art show in the very famous city in Italy, Venice Biennale. The decision to release the soundbar at the art exhibition was made due to the fact that the soundbar, Beosound Stage collaborated with the Danish firm, Norm Architects for its design. Given its wonderful design and connection to NORM Architects makes it enough for the product to be released at the art exhibition.
To make up for its absence all these years, Beosound just comes equipped with every feature that anyone could ask for in a soundbar ever. The soundbar has 11 front-firing speakers that are powered by amplifiers of 50 W.
To reduce or remove any sort of distortion, the center channels have four custom made woofers of 4 inches. This is also done in order to deliver superbly deep bass. The mid-tones are dealt with by 1.5-inch drivers and 0.75-inch dome tweeters.
The same 1.5-inch drivers and 0.75-inch dome tweeters are placed next to each other at a 45-degree angle for both the left and right channels. It has a built-in Chrome cast and it is capable enough to support Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD and AirPlay 2.
Just like many others, it offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. It also has an Ethernet socket, HDMI and HDMI arc.
Beosound stage costs around 1750 USD.
