The favorite TV series Game of Thrones which drew to its end in 2019 was full of twists and turns. The fans loved watching the series and when it came to an end, it did break a few hearts.
However, while the entire series was otherwise flawless, there remain certain unexplainable loopholes. For instance, one of the major loopholes of the series was left in Season 3 when Daenerys Targaryen met the Warlocks of Quath. The Warlocks were heavily involved in the occurrence of Daenerys’ life in season 2. Plus there were enough reasons to believe that these groups would be a major threat to the Silver queen down the line.
However, to our surprise and confusion, these Warlocks disappeared from the HBO series only after making a brief appearance in the premiere episode of Season 3. To shed some light on your memory, the Warlocks were the practitioners of magic and were based in a trading town on the southern coast of Essos.
The Warlocks were not big fans of Daenerys and thus challenged her authority. They were, in fact, a big threat to the dragon queen. In the season 3 premiere episode, Daenerys found herself in the Red City. It was set weeks after the Qarth debacle, but the Warlocks were still on to the Dragon Queen and her children. Back in the city, a young Warlock girl tried to kill Daenerys. Thankfully she was saved by Ser Barristan Selmy. The girl disappeared quickly after revealing herself which goes on to show that the Warlocks were still a threat.
However, on that climax the Warlocks were never seen or heard of ever again, thereby leaving a major hole in the plot of this epic fantasy series. Indeed, with the attack on Daenerys, the fans did expect the Warlocks to return in the future and perhaps, be assassinated cruelly.
But alas! We were made to forget all about the Warlocks as the series went through the different twists and turns.
