Rachel Anne Madao Mad-Oh; (Born April 1, 1973) is an American television news program host and liberal political commentator.

Maddow hosts the Rachel Maddow Show, an all-night television show on MSNBC and co-anchors the cable network’s special event with Brian Williams. His syndicated talk radio program of the same name aired on Air America Radio.

Maddow earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Stanford University and a doctorate in political science from Oxford University and was the first openly gay anchor to host a major prime-time news event in the United States.

In an upcoming biopic, MSNBC’s Prime Time host Rachel Maddow has revealed that she has been suffering from depression for much of her life.

“The way I experience depression is the real end of the world.” “One of the expressions of my depression is that I lose my will and concentration ability. It’s like hitting the mute button. It’s very lonely and it’s different.”

The host says she feels lucky to have her long-time partner Susan Mikula, “both of whom know and understand this and care about those reasons … If it ever becomes permanent, I will be treated. Might have to be done medically, but I don’t do it right now. ”

Maddow, who has hosted his show at MSNBC for more than a decade, is the most viewed anchor on the network.

His show is the third most-watched of all cable news in 2019, with an average of 2.7 million viewers per night. He only narrowed down Fox News’s Shawn Hannity and Tucker Carlson.
