It has been reported that Jennifer Lopez being sued for $150,000 (£122k), for publishing a photo of herself without prior permission.
It is being claimed that the Waiting For Tonight singer is being dragged to court by Splash New picture agency after she posted a picture of herself and fiancée Alex Rodriguez on her Instagram story.
The image in discussion saw the 50-year-old holding hands with the athlete as they went out in New York, way back in 2017.

The court documents obtained by E! News and The Blast revealed that he picture agency has mentioned they are the owner, and hold sole copyright for the photo in question, and didn’t give her license or any sort of permission to post it.
The docs apparently stated that—‘Plaintiff never permitted the license for the Photograph to the defendant. Nevertheless, Lopez used it without being authorized or permission from the plaintiff to do so.’
Splash claimed J Lo was informed of her infringement ‘via her representatives,’ through a letter from 12 December 2017.
‘The Photograph is creative, unique, and of extreme value,’ they claimed. Due to the subject’s star value, and the Photograph’s quality and visual charm, the plaintiff (and the photographer it represents) stood to earn revenue from licensing the Photograph.
‘But the defendant’s unwarranted use threatens the existing and future market for the original Photograph.
‘The Instagram post ensured that the Photograph was immediately available to Lopez’s millions and millions of followers and others, customers of entertainment news.
It also risks the outselling of news and images of Lopez herself, as evidently seen by the status as followers of her—who would otherwise be looking at viewing licensed versions of the Photograph in the magazines and newspapers that are plaintiff’s customers.’
