Lauv apologized to Matt Healy from 1975 after having drawn compassions throughout their music videos. The hitmaker ‘I Like Me Better’ dumped the graphics into his new track ‘Tattoos Together’ and viewers were quick to notice ‘similarities’ between his video and the song ‘Sincerity Is Scary’ from the album.
On Twitter, the Feelings’ star shared screenshots; tagging Matty, writing: “I’m wanna be one to own up to s**t, I’m sorry.”
He wrote in the text messages, “Hey man. I just put out a video for my new song and saw comments about similarities to the sincerity is a scary videos.

I honestly hadn’t seen the video till now, but after seeing it I’m completely horrified and wanted to reach out and apologize directly before I said anything online [sic].”
He continued saying, “As somebody who’s genuinely a massive fan and who respects your artistry so much, please believe me when I say this was an honest mistake.”
He added, “If you have any strong feelings about me saying something specific or anything, I want to do whether I can to make this right.”
Then Matty fooled around, before answering with, “Lol bro honest idgaf if anyone is giving you s**t just post this screenshot.”
Lauv went on to say: “My heart just dropped lol. Like when I realized, I felt so dumb [sic].”
Fans were happy to see that the pair was all in love, with one comment: “Oh my godddd love to see this [sic].”
Another said, “And that’s why we love matty.”
It’s no joke that everyone was tweeting to anticipate a partnership from both of them now and we can’t help but be on board.
