The upcoming and latest Batman game may be named Arkham Legacy. It is also touted to have a perspective-shifting mode starring multiple heroes.
Warner Bros. Montreal has been trying to develop and get on with a new Batman game now, and it looks like it will be set in the Court of Owls story arc with a lot of surprise twists.
The studio obviously has not uttered a word regarding anything other than cryptic teasers and is likely restraining for a grand reveal at The Game Awards 2019.
But newly leaked info gives a clue into multiple characters in the Wayne family will be playable, possibly Damien Wayne, Batgirl, and without a doubt the Caped Crusader himself, hence the famed Arkham Legacy title.
The information was given by the infamous Smash Bros. and Nintendo leaker Sabi, who tweeted the Arkham Legacy name and said the speculations of a playable family in the next Batman seem legit.
Earlier, reports said that WB Montreal struck down its Suicide Squad all the way back in 2016 to solely concentrate on a brand new game with Damien Wayne. That project, a return to Arkham Knight, was eventually canceled.
There is a good chance that we’ll be given themes and content from the canceled Batman Arkham Knight sequel which will be combined into this new project, as well.
Warner Bros. Montreal is expected to reveal the latest Batman game at The Game Awards 2019 on December 12, 2019. Host Geoff Keighley talked about “lots of interesting announcements” for the show.
Fans are really anticipating something special. WB doesn’t usually disappoint in all honesty. But there is a first time for everything as The Joker says.
