A new wax statue of Beyoncé was unveiled at the Madame Tussauds in London. Her lifelike wax statue was equipped with Beyoncé’s costume back at the Coachella performance ensemble where she performed in 2018.
Beyoncé’s fans or as they call themselves, Beyhives, are going ecstatic with the life-like Beyoncé’s statue. It looks like they are falling in love with the wax statue that resembles Beyoncé to a great extent. The pictures have been going all around the internet since they were released on the internet on Thursday.
Well, if you think that Beyoncé’s new wax statue was the only thing that came as a surprise then you are very wrong. In reality, Madame Tussauds, London had another surprise for us.
Beyoncé was not only an addition but she was made to grab the center of attention. Beyoncé’s wax statue took the center instead of the queen and was surrounded by all the royals.
Madame Tussauds called her Queen Bey and asked her to take her throne which was in the center surrounded by the royal family. They said that they thought this was the only way to laud Beyoncé who is the music royalty. According to them, Beyoncé is no less than a queen and hence she was treated as one.
She took the throne while all the royal family’s wax statutes stood by her side which includes the wax statues of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
For the time being, the wax statue of Queen Elizabeth II was moved and replaced with Beyoncé.
“Beyoncé is a living legend, rightly crowned Queen Bey by her legions of fans and industry insiders. If anyone is fitting of a claim to the Queen’s spot in our attraction for the very first time, it’s Beyoncé,” stated Steve Davies, the general manager of Madame Tussauds, London.
