It looks like Rapper, Nicki Minaj is getting ready to say “I Do” soon and marry her longtime love, Kenneth Petty.
The two lovebirds sparked wedding rumors when they obtained a marriage license in July. And it didn’t help that earlier this year, the Queen rapper also started referring to Petty as her husband.
However, it appears Queen Rapper is seriously taking her relationship to the next level. Nicki spilled the tea about her upcoming wedding at the launch party of her Fendi “Prints On” capsule collection.
She shared that they had gotten their marriage license, but there’s a particular pastor who they want to officiate and so she was just made available as of today.
That’s right! The 36-year-old rapper could be a married woman anytime soon. However, do not expect her to walk down the aisle in a traditional wedding dress.
When asked if she picked out a bridal gown for her big day, She said, We’re not doing that yet, That’s too much. I can’t. There’s no way. That will take too long to plan. I’m not good at that.
Nicki explained that after their marriage, she is looking forward to another thing: babies!
She shared, I always said that I wanna be married if I have children, so just in case I have a child, then I would be married.
The two stars have been dating since December, last year, according to her Instagram.
Petty also unveiled a new tattoo of his love’s birth name, Onika, in December, and featured in Minaj’s music video for one of her songs.
Petty is a registered sex offender in the state of New York and served some time in prison.
Many fans have expressed concern over Petty’s criminal record, but Minaj doesn’t appear to care about the criticism.
Nicki Minaj has known Petty since they were teenagers, and she is “confident he’s matured” since then.
While there’s no set timeline on when they want to start a family together, the rapper said she and Kenneth are so sexually attracted to each other.
We’re always been very close as friends, ’cause we’ve known each other since we were kids, but also, we’re so sexually attracted to each other. We always wanna do it,” she revealed.
