After giving us a good, good cry with her all-new recent single, “Lonely,” Noah Cyrus comes back with an equally ‘make you sad’ video that takes her gospel-tinged ballad to different levels. Literally.
In the subtle, black and white video, which came out on Monday (October 7), Cyrus seems to be balled up on the ground. She looks like she is alone, but as the camera widens out, we see that she’s actually with a lot of choir members spotting black robes.
That’s when they feel hit — as the 19-year-old details how her lifestyle created a distance between her and her family and loved ones, her body starts floating upward ala exorcism swag.
The choir goes around her levitating body, and she returns back down to earth, where the lonesome further sinks in: “I don’t give a toss, anyone, anything ‘Cause I’m so tired of being so lonely.”
