The new, single-player melee action game from the makers of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, Respina Entertainment, Titanfall and Apex Legends is almost here.

The game officially releases for PS4, Xbox One and PC on Friday 15 November, but copies of the game have already appeared in the wild.

There are reports of people getting their hands on the much-awaited Star Wars game ahead of time on Reddit and elsewhere. Players who are willing to avoid spoilers are advised to take extra precautions on social media, as information about the story may be revealed.

Keeping in mind, the Jedi Fallen Order is canonical in the Star Wars universe.
The Jedi Fallen Order takes place five years after the Revenge of the Sith.

The story, which is canon, follows a Jedi Padawan (played by Gotham’s Joker, Cameron Monaghan) named Cal Custis, who is trying to wipe out all of the Empire’s forces. The main enemy is Darth Vader’s apprentice, the second sister, who is pursuing Cal in the solar system.

Unlike other EA-published games, JD Fallen Order is not available quickly to EA Access customers. This is a big deal, as the upcoming EA game starts playing soon, making the subscription service so attractive. However, EA / Origin Access customers are getting free bonus content for JD Fallen orders.

Early copies of the Jedi Fallen Order emerging in the wild appeared as if pre-loading for the game had begun. Respawn announced on Twitter that people who pre-order a digital copy of the game can now start pre-loading on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The file size is relatively small compared to other large AAA games weighing around 37 GB (on Xbox One, at least).
When you can actually start playing Jedi Fallen Order, the game will be unlocked at midnight local time.

The Jedi Fallen Order is expected to be a major success commercially, as EA expects the game to sell more than 8 million copies upon launch. NPD expects it to be one of the best-selling games of 2019 in the US.

In other news, crazy TV actress Debra Wilson appears in the Jedi Fallen Order as Jedi named Seri Junda. She spoke to the Hollywood Reporter about the importance of her character and is excited to get into the game.

“I believe I’m the first black female Jedi as far as video games are concerned,” Wilson said. “It is amazing to be a part of the Star Wars universe in this regard. Growing up with Star Wars from a very early age – well not a hurry because I’m a little older – it had a very powerful impact on me.”
