Given the extreme privacy leading up to the July 18 launch of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8, it would not have been startling if Chevy had just revealed the car, giving few to no elements.
But that is far from the scenario. We understand almost everything regarding the mid-engined Vette, as performance amounts, full specifications, design details, and more have all been launched by Chevy.
We would not get into the weeds here with all of the technological info and performance captions found on the C8—we have a ton of other stories for that—so this is a wide dive into everything else that is relevant to you if you are looking to purchase the C8, such as trim levels, details, and colors.

So far, the C8 has only been indicated in red, but 12 paint colors will be given. Arctic White, Blade Silver, Black, Ceramic Matrix Gray, Long Beach Red, Elkhart Lake Blue, Sebring Orange, Shadow Gray, and Torch Red are all prevailing colors that are held over from the C7.

The three modern colors are Accelerate Yellow, Rapid Blue, and Zeus Bronze, the final of which is sketched at the top of this tale.
A set of identical top stripes can be seen in Midnight Black, Sterling Silver, or Carbon Flash; twin hashmark stripes on the front fenders can also be seen in Carbon Flash/Edge Red, Midnight Silver/Carbon Flash, and Edge Red/Carbon Flash.
There will be twin wheel designs at blastoff, each with three glazes, for six options in full. The front rotations are 19 inches, while the backs are the 20s, and the basic tires will be all-seasons.
In what might be a startling move to Corvette fanatics, chrome wheels would not be an option. Four brake caliper pigments are available: Black, Bright Red, a darker Edge Red, and Yellow.
