RuPaul’s Drag Race UK revealed its inaugural season Thursday on WOW Presents Plus, making nine British queens (and one Canadian!) go against each other for the Emmy-winning franchise’s first European crown.

There was everything from the colorful cast— charisma, nonchalance, gut, unique and maybe even a sense of misdirection. The episode 1 showcased with crass British comedy, jaw-dropping looks, and stock music that was definitely used on previous seasons of America’s Next Top Model.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK started off the time-based game. It involved with each queen walking into the Werk Room hoping to make an impact with their best looks and quirky one-liners – and it’s the first chance we get to meet the queens.

Nineteen-year-old Scaredy Kat, from Wiltshire, had the other queens in splits with his introduction when he came up with the bombshell that he’s not gay.

“I’ve had a girlfriend yo. I’m not gay in fact,” Scaredy said, before explaining that his girlfriend is a drag queen, too. “She’s called Pussy Cat.”

Drag really is for everyone!

RuPaul’s Drag Race has managed to successfully give rise so many now trending catchphrases – “Backrolls?!” “Flazéda”, “Halloo!” to cite just a few. And now, we owe a big thanks to Drag Race UK, we’ve got one more to add to the list: “Her Majesty already done had herses.”

Personally, I really love it. I might as well be using it in my social media game from now.

This season’s first short spanned challenger, motivated by the gory history of beheadings at the Tower of London, asked the queens to pose in a green screen photoshoot with their version of CGI-severed head.

And who emerged victorious in the first mini-challenge? Scaredy Kat, who came up with a stunningly revolting (and extremely funny) pose that saw her pushing her own head out of a particular part of her body. We have no comments to add but suggest that you go catch up this moment right now.
