For a season that mostly features spooky murders and guts wrenching ends, featuring horrifying things is nothing new for Top Boy. But this murder came as a total surprise for even cast member Kane Robinson.
Ricky Smarts’ character Jason is burned to a cash-in episode four, which is even titled Bonfire Night, ( are we the only ones feeling weird in the stomach?) After house fire breaks out in the middle of the night.
Meanwhile, Sully got himself a plump wad of cash to safety, Jason understood that the inferno had eaten up the entire building far too late and got trapped on the second floor.

When Sully ran back into the house in a heartbreaking attempt to save his friend, who he had become a father figure to by now, but couldn’t battle the suffocating smoke and lurking flames and had to head back outside.
Failing to break through the window and get safely to Sully, unfortunately, Jason was last seen being wrapped into the flames.
Turns out, the seen was not only intimidating for us but to Kane as well. He unveiled to Metro.co.uk. of what an emotional ride it was for him to readjust the script. Of what an emotional ride it was for his character as Jason has become family to Sully now.
Sully needs to do his very own thing, endlessly from Dushane and he attempts that, however when Jason dies it’s I feel that kicks him back going and just makes him not mind any longer.’
Kane explained: ‘That’s when we had that scene on the doorstep and he’s like you know what, I don’t feel anymore. Anything goes now.’
We all remember when we first met Jason in the Channel Four series Top Boy: Summerhouse back in 2013.
Back then, Jason was just a kid and was seen running around the estate in this big jacket, pickpocketing gangsters ( then to a brave kid) and then selling his findings to market small owners.
Don’t really know about you but at least our heart is in pieces. Who’re teeth will Sully check now? *sobs in a corner*
