As the Dreams community continues to raise the qualitative level of its fan-made levels with increasingly interesting projects, the authors of Media Molecule regain the pages of the PS Blog to announce the imminent launch of one of the most important updates of their creative sandbox for PS4 and PS5. What is new? you might ask.
Following the indications provided by those who are participating in the Dreams Early Access phase, the English developers have decided to take advantage of the October update to significantly improve the search system for the levels present in the Sogniverso.

The renewed DreamSurfing feature will, in fact, offer additional options to allow fans to find the fan-made works best suited to their tastes.

The new Sogniverso interface will thus offer us the opportunity to discover the best levels, mini-games, polygonal models and “movies in kinematics “through illustrative sheets with a preview and a short text description.
The re-elaboration of the search menu and the interface of the Sogniverso will also make it easier to browse the highlighted content, but also the recommended games, the trend levels, the creations linked to the time-based Community Jam and the best works divided by themes and categories of interest.
Given the nature and depth of these interventions, Media Molecule plans to gradually introduce these new features in the game to prevent the patch impacting negatively on the servers and, therefore, on the user experience offered by the title: for this, the British authors inform us that they might take up to five days after the launch of the update on PS4 in order to see all the promised innovations integrated – whether they’re working fine or not.
While it’s being done, do take a look at some of the most beautiful Made in Dreams levels that are currently available in the Sogniverso.
