Yo Vampire Dairies fans, we have got some exciting news from the Salvatore bros.
It’s been more than a couple of years after Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley shot their final scenes as Damon and Stefan Salvatore, the vampire siblings who both fell for Elena Gilbert on the hit CW series The Vampire Diaries and it’s been more than a decade(jeez, time goes fast) since the series launched, but the actors have revealed all about their latest venture together.
Somerhalder announced on Instagram that he and Wesley were in the process of developing their own bourbon. If you watched the show, you would know it was the Salvatore boys’ favorite drink by far irrespective of a good day or bad day.

The actors revealed that they want suggestions from their fans to make their bourbon even better, and will be going around the world to start the brand with “some very cool parties.”
Somerhalder and Wesley are creating their bourbon brand also with the intention of reaching out to the community and the world with sustainable investments.
“I’m working endlessly to develop and build great companies with products that send a message about something to you and the world. To create a revenue through business and in turn, use those resources for the general betterment.”
It’s not surprising they have chosen a product of this type, especially considering its history with the show and the fact that Somerhalder had earlier launched his own brand of wine. We can only speculate that it was Ian’s idea initially that became a reality.
The CW celebrities will join hands with Somerhalder’s foundation, the Ian Somerhalder Foundation, to give a boost to the company off the ground.
The actors have not yet disclosed a release date for the beverage line. The two were unavailable for any comments on this.
