Vans has finally revealed its special edition sneaker assortment celebrating director Tim Burton’s 1993 animated classic The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is buzzed by sneaker obsessives and Halloweentown lovers alike.
The special collection has been inspired by the hit film and features a 10-piece footwear collection, complemented by a range of apparel and accessories.
In terms of footwear, the collab features 10 styles based on six sneaker models: the Sk8-Hi, Authentic, Old Skool, Era Stacked, ComfyCush Authentic, and Slip-On.
The shoes take inspiration from the movie’s fan-favorite characters including Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogi Boogie and the cute pet ghost dog, Zero.

The Pumpkin King’s ghostly suit including cat and batwing applique is featured on the Classic Slip-On, and Sally can be found on an Era Stacked, Disney bounding fans can channel the film’s beloved couple, Jack Skellington and Sally.
A special message that reads “Nice Work, Bone Daddy” on the within collar completes the planning. For completists, an accompanying Jack Pull-Over Hoodie features a special rendition of Jack’s Lament with a Checkerboard spiral hill.
While the skatewear giant teased the sneakers with an Instagram post earlier this month, fans were previously unaware of all the styles included particularly with respect to apparel. The range includes socks, baseball caps, jackets, T-shirts and backpacks.
All the Vans x “Nightmare Before Christmas” styles will be available to shop on Vans.com on Oct. 4. Fans who are interested in purchasing items from the limited-edition collab can sign up on Vans’ website now to be notified as soon as the styles go live.
This is not the first time Vans partnered with a cult classic movie. The VF Corp-owned label came out with a “Harry Potter”-themed range of footwear in May 2019. Other buzzed-about 2019 collections included David Bowie, Frida Kahlo, and Led Zeppelin.
The Pumpkin King’s ghostlike suit is featured on the Classic vesture, while Dr. Finkelstein’s master robot creation, Sally, receives her very own Era Stacked silhouette and Sally Patchwork Crew.
Inspired by her terrible creation, every vogue is collaged with numerous prints from her dress whereas the time Stacked options hand-stitched details.
