Rick and Morty Last Episode explained!
In Episode 5 of Rick and Morty season 4, Rattlestar Ricklactica revolves around the Christmas theme as Jerry seems to put on Christmas lights. However, Rick thinks that he may fall down and hurt himself. Thus, Rick plays the trick and makes him weigh lighter than air. But, since Jerry forgets about the fact that if he loses his shoes (which he did), he will float in the air. Consequently, this thought comes alive.
Furthermore, Jerry is now floating in his spaceship and Rick is nowhere around to repair the flat tire of the ship. To this, Morty panics and jumps out of the spaceship. However, a snake bites Morty and then, Rick comes to his rescue by researching for an antidote. This research leads to the fact that the snake who had bitten Morty comes from a planet of intellectual snakes and he is an astronaut. To repair their mistake, Morty takes the decision without telling Rick and replaces the astronaut snake with a regular one, further, sends him to the snake planet.
At the end of the episode, one thing leads to another, and before you know Rick and Morty are standing before their future selves. This removes Morty’s guilt for killing the astronaut snake as their future selves tell that this was the need of the hour.
