T.I. has explicitly claimed that Lil Kim is definitely worthy of a spot on the list of Greatest Rappers Of All-Time ahead Nicki Minaj.
We aren’t sure what the crew on T.I.‘s ExpediTIously was doing; however, they did make a list, and controversial star Nicki did not make the cut.
The Southern rapper has created a name for himself for speaking his mind out and freely, even putting off friends if their views are not similar to his way of thinking. A known example of this is when Mr. West, Kanye West, decided to jump on the Trump train.
In his all-new episode, the rapper and his crew, such as rapper Bun B decided to make a list of their 50 greatest rappers.
When it was the right time to decide which female rapper should be added, the battle was fought between two of rap’s best. T.I.P. made the group know, “It will be a contest between Lil’ Kim and Nicki [Minaj].”
He added, “I don’t know if it is possible to have both because they are a very strict image of one another.” One of the panel members expresses that without Kim, Nicki would not be able to do what she does today. T.I.P. seemed to agree with the statement and stated that Lil Kim showed the way for Nicki.
Both Lil Kim and Nicki come from New York and may just have the very same upbringing, in the gritty streets of New York. Lil Kim was a part of the Notorious BIG clique, Junior Mafia, and rose through the ranks in the 90s, assuring a strong female presence in the hip-hop game.
T.I. did mention the respect he holds for Nicki stating, “She [Nicki] is one of the best selling rapper in the history and I salute that. Impact, impact, impact.”
