Here one thing about the illuminators that are not sufficiently accepted: they are just as dangerous to their users as they are to the enemies who are facing against them.

This is not a big deal, given the elegant weapons for a more civilized age, is fictional, but in real life, this fact becomes relevant.

For proof of that evaluation see Haxmith’s “World’s First Protosaber” Build, as well as understand that a true energy sword is not only nearly impossible to construct but also incapable of understanding.

Protosaber is an archaic form of a lightsaber, with the main difference between the two being the prior use of external power packs.

As Wikipedia notes, “a proto-beam tilt was connected via a cable to an external power pack due to limitations in power pack technology,” resulting in not only a relatively short operating time, but certainly, also had limited capacity.

Hayter DNA — which certainly exists in Colin Farz’s blood, for the record — took the challenge to Haxmith (and friends) anyway, eventually coming up with an IRL protostar that sufficed in half of an average North American household Produces energy; All from a block of batteries that slips on the user’s back.

Most of the videos revolve around the creation of a portable battery pack, capable of powering the IRL Protosaber, which looks quite dangerous even without the finished product in mind.

Apparently the battery pack “burst into flames” several times, and there is no footage of this happening in this video when Huxmith first turns it on, Protosaber fires himself.

After replacing the “blade” of the protostar with a thick piece of tungsten – the original battery can’t handle the 20kW of power produced – Haxmith reveals the final product at 14:25. And the whole thing,
