The Rainier Beer company came into existence in 1878 in Seattle, Washington. It is one of the most favourable options for people northwest of the United States of America.

The first brewery was established in Seattle by A.B. Rabbeson in 1854 when he founded Washington Brewery, the city’s first commercial brewer. In 1872, Robeson gave his brewery a new name: Seattle Brewery. They first sold Rainier beer in 1878, and for the next ten years, they produced and marketed it. Andrew Hemrich and John Kopp founded the Bay View Brewing Company at the same time in 1883; Hemrich’s father, John, who had previously owned a brewery in Alma, Wisconsin, quickly acquired Kopp’s share; and the rest of the Hemrich family swiftly relocated to Seattle and either joined Andrew’s brewery or started their own.

In 1888, Hemrich acquired the Rainier name and the brewery owned by Rabbeson. The Albert Braun Brewing Company, located further south, the Claussen & Sweeney brewery in Georgetown, and the Bay View brewery would join forces in 1893 to form the Seattle Brewing & Malting Company. Andrew Hemrich presided over the new business before he passed away in 1910.

In addition, after Andrew Hemrich passed away, his brother Louis Hemrich became president. The Georgetown brewery underwent a significant construction phase at the beginning of the 20th century, making it one of the biggest in the world. The headquarters of the new corporation would be located at the brewery.
