Liars for Waxman-Markey

Greens have inevitably fallen to telling outright lies in order to drum up support for the unpopular Waxman-Markey bill.

Sounds good, doesn’t it?  Clean energy jobs for America, not China.  Unfortunately, it’s a complete lie.

Green activism has already led to legislation that Americans will have no choice but to use the mercury toxic-bomb compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) after 2014. 

Every CFL in the world is manufactured in China, where they are killing the workers that make them.

The people behind the pro Waxman-Markey ad are the Clean Energy Network, and they claim to be:

the national advocacy association for the cleantech and green business community. We are a broad, nonpartisan collection of professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, workers joined by like-minded professionals and thinkers from across the economy and across the political spectrum.

It’s interesting that such a non-partisan group should be led by Jeff Anderson, the man that created Cleantech and Green Business for Obama.

That’s non-partisanship we can believe in, telling lies that no-one should believe in.
