During earlier announcements, the Marvel Comic universe declared the release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021. However, the CoronaVirus pandemic has pushed the release to May 7, 2021, in the United States in English.
Well! Although the release has been delayed, Marvel’s Shang-Chi movie director Destin Daniel Cretton has bigger plans and expectations. According to the director, he works hard to break stereotypes in the entertainment industry concerning fictional characters and American superheroes. In one of the stage interviews, he says, “It’s fascinating to me to be able to fill a movie like that with a bunch of Asian faces and be able to see more sides of these characters than what we have seen before.”
