Former Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aimé to teach at Cornell University
After leaving Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime has announced that he will teach at Cornell University in New York.

Merely a few months after retiring as the President of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime has proclaimed that he will begin teaching at the Cornell University in New York.

For those unfamiliar, Reggie grew up as the President of Nintendo US in 2006 and quickly became extremely popular among fans of the brand or just any gamer for his charismatic personality and a funny never-too-serious attitude. He resigned from the position earlier this year in the month of April.

Reggie shared the news via Twitter saying that he will be teaching and mentoring students starting this academic year. He graduated from Cornell back in 1983 and his first talk as their Leader in Residence will begin on October 21 at Cornell’s Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. What is more, the talk is free and open to the public.

According to Cornell’s official events page, during his talk, he will share principles for one to master so that they can cultivate their leadership capability. The principles he will share will apply to any situation, including now while one is a student or in their future endeavors.

Reggie started his career with the game developing company Nintendo back in 2003 as their Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and then he went on to become their President and Chief Operating Officer in 2006.

Over time, he became one of the main faces of the company as he appeared at events such as E3 and Nintendo Directs. After declaring his retirement, the senior vice president of sales and marketing, Doug Bowser, took over as the next President.
