The first images of Aya Cash appear in the role of Stormfront for the second season of The Boys, an Amazon Prime series.

Last year The Boys became one of the most viewed series on the Best Amazon Prime service, so production for its second season was immediate. Now, through EW we have in pictures, the first glimpse of Stormfront, the new and powerful figure of «The Seven» played by Aya Cash.

In 2019 we learned that Aya Cash would be joining the series’ second season cast in the role of Stormfront, who is one of the villains present in the comics generally described by readers as a cross between Thor and Shazam.

However, the creators of the series wanted to go further by making changes to the character, mainly by turning her into a woman, but also because apparently, in the series she will not be introduced at first as a villain.

Via EW we can see the first images of the character in full costume. And it can be quite feminist. She is a truly empowered woman. The Boys, is a series, based on comics created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, and created by Eric Kripke for Amazon Prime.

Its first season had a good reception by the audience and critics, due to the freshness of its treatment, at a time when the screens are invaded by superheroes.

The second season of the series does not yet have an official release date, but it is scheduled to be released sometime in 2020, probably in summer, just like in its first season.
