The Craft reboot has decided on its leads. It was expected for years that the planned sequel would be on its way but that never took off.
Zoe Lister-Jones will be behind the camera for this movie and she has cast Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, and Zoey Luna to star in the remake. The original movie released in 1996 and starred Fairuza Balk, Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell, and Rachel True. It ended up becoming an absolute fan favorite over the years and seems to grow its cult status.
Blumhouse will be funding The Craft remake and is looking ahead to a smaller budget to maximize earnings at the box office.

Cailee Spaeny (Bad Times at the El Royale) had earlier been in negotiations with the studio previously in the summer, while it was just revealed that Gideon Adlon (Blockers), Love Simone (Greenleaf), and Zoey Luna (Pose) have entered the remake’s cast.
Apart from directing the remake, Zoe Lister-Jones also wrote the script and will be doing the role as an executive producer with Andrew Fleming, the director, and co-writer of the original movie.
Even when she wasn’t confirmed as a cast member, Tunney has expressed her interest in making a comeback for the production.
‘I think if it came along and the script was nice and I actually feel like it’s it was going to be something … I want them to find a great director.
‘I think they have talked to a lot of writers. If it was something where I think they will do it well, and also find a way, because it’s been so many years now, you can’t just do a sequel,’ she told ComicBook.com last year.
Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, and Rachel True starred in the original film.
The upcoming remake has been discussions for years now.
